Administration
Kelly Moss, CA Vice President of Finance
Kelly has over 20 years of experience working as a Chartered Accountant. Her background with both large and medium sized firms in Nova Scotia makes her a perfect fit for DWS. As the Vice President of Finance, Kelly works with the DWS team to ensure that departmental goals and activities are in alignment with DWS’ strategy. She is responsible for the administrative and accounting functions at DWS and is involved in our strategic planning process.
Operations
Dan McAvoy, Director of Telecom Operations
With over 35 years of experience in the telephony world, Dan McAvoy has the knowledge and skills required to ensure that each job gets done right the first time. He works closely with our customers to ensure that DWS is meeting or exceeding our customers’ expectations. Dan is responsible for managing the overall operations of IPTV, copper splicing and fibre splicing, and line construction.
Brett Garden, Operations Manager RCDD Specialist
Brett came to DWS and the Telecommunications Industry after studying Electronic Engineering. His passion for the job lead to certifications in Cable Repair, I&R, DAVAR, Fibre and Copper Splicing. As the Telecom Operations Manager Brett is responsible for the Outside Plant personnel as well as the FibreOP Customer Service Technicians and Managers. Brett’s commitment to Customer Service ensures that the DWS technical team is always meeting or exceeding client expectations.
Marketing and Sales
Ralph Maxwell, Director of Telecom Services
Ralph heads DWS’ Marketing and Sales group and co-ordinates our Structured
Cabling and Multi Media business development efforts. Ralph has over 25 years of business experience, including 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. His background includes operations management, marketing, human resources and sales. He and his team concentrate on providing client focused solutions, maintaining our strong client relationships and establishing new relationships. Daren Moulstone, Structured Cabling Manager
RCDD Specialist
Regardless of project size, scope or location, Daren’s focus is on the seamless delivery of our customized solutions. He facilitates communications between the customer and the project team to efficiently manage each stage of the project from design to delivery. With over 30 years of experience, Daren’s broad background in the cabling and telecommunications industries has included the design of voice and data systems, as well as cost estimates for bids and scheduling. In addition, he brings a wealth of technical training, project documentation and supervisory experience to the DWS team.
Christian Doucette, Structured Cabling Project Manager
RCDD – OSP Specialist
Christian has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Christian has an excellent understanding of customer requirements and is committed to maintaining Data Wiring Solutions’ leadership in quality, technical expertise and the development of its employees. The reporting structure at Data Wiring Solutions has allowed managers like Christian to maintain the closest possible contact with our customers on a daily basis by finding solutions to their needs and meeting due dates and budget restrictions.
Ross McAvoy, Safety Manager
In his role as Safety Manager, Ross is responsible for managing our overall safety program, which is an integral part of the DWS management strategy. By ensuring we conduct safe work practices and meet regulatory requirements, we are able to bring our customers more efficient service with fewer issues, no downtime and a better end product. With over 30 years of experience in the telecom industry, Ross has extensive training in the field of Occupational Health and Safety, and has attained the professional designation from the Nova Scotia Safety Council.
